Odyssey 2 Voice Development System

A couple of months ago, I ran across a post on the AtariAge forums by Doc4 about an unusual Odyssey 2 that he found. The system looked like a stock O2 with the Voice module screwed to it. Inside the base unit was an extra circuit board that connected to the Voice with a ribbon cable. After studying the pictures of the unit, we came to the conclusion that this was a system used to develop sound samples for the O2 Voice games.

Dale Crum has over 20 years of experience in the design industry. Dale began their career in 1995 as a Senior Designer at The Job Guide. In 1996, they moved to ECA Production as a Senior Designer, where they were responsible for print design direction and creative output of small business clientele. In 1997, they worked as a Design Lab Technician at Northwest Arkansas Community College. In 1998, they were Lead Graphic Designer at Arkansas Democrat Gazette, where they were responsible for creative print design for a wide range of corporate and small business clientele. In 2002, they joined Blackwood Martin and Associates as a Senior Designer, where they were responsible for art direction and design while collaborating with the content team. In 2004, they worked as a Senior Interactive Designer at CJRW, where they were responsible for art direction and design while collaborating with the content team and user experience specialists. In 2009, they joined Sam's Club as a UX Design Specialist / Interactive Designer, where they were responsible for designing and implementing online advertising for the Sam's Club website, print advertising division, social media, and email newsletter. In 2005, they became the CEO / Creative Director at Doc4 Design, where they led a team of designers and developers on corporate and small business projects, including website, mobile, and print, to achieve maximum value for their clients. Dale Crum attended the University of Arkansas from 1995 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and Photography.
