Several graphic design elements were developed for the Opcode ColecoVision Club, including an updated look and feel for their identity, a custom-designed membership card, letterhead, custom envelopes, and the cover design for the first issue of the Opcode Experience magazine.
The magazine cover is a precise, vector, reproduction of the packaging artwork used for Donkey Kong on the MicroSoft eXtended (MSX) home computer system. Read more about the MSX Computer on Wikipedia.
"MSX is a standardized home computer architecture, first announced by Microsoft on June 16, 1983, conceived by Kazuhiko Nishi, then Vice-president at Microsoft Japan and Director at ASCII Corporation. It is said that Microsoft led the project as an attempt to create unified standards among hardware makers."
