Startup Junkies Idea Fame Contest
IdeaFame was started by a group of entrepreneurs in an effort increase the spread of ideas and access to capital for innovators, entrepreneurs, creatives, and artists all around the globe. Not everyone is ready to pitch on Shark Tank, and not everyone is interested in raising venture capital for their ideas. Idea Fame provides exposure to potential customers through a platform where you don't have to give up any ownership in your company for the chance at funding. You don't even have to have an existing business to compete in IdeaFame.
Startup Junkies in Little Rock, Arkansas approached Doc4 Design to help implement the Idea Fame concept and make it a reality. We developed a Python based content management system allowing individuals to register and maintain custom profiles used to upload and manage videos. As this was a short lived contest they were looking for a way to merge both the functionality and ease found on Kickstarter and Indiegogo into their system to reduce the learning curve needed to apply.
