Crowdsourced Trail Reporting for a Safer, Smarter Ride
The NWA Trail Companion is a community-powered web app that helps Northwest Arkansas trail users stay informed, safe, and connected—while also supporting the stakeholders who build and maintain the region’s world-class trail network.
Built for tourists, locals, and trail managers alike, the app centralizes real-time trail condition updates, hazard reporting, and navigation into one easy-to-use platform. Riders can report hazards on the fly, get alerts for issues up ahead, and find the best access points, parking areas, or nearby amenities.
Beyond just the rider experience, the app plays a key role in helping organizations and local governments prioritize investments and maintenance efforts—thanks to the crowdsourced data that flows in from thousands of users.
